Graphic & Product Designer

Hello! We are Kharkiv IT Cluster — a public organization that develops the Kharkiv region and Ukraine as a whole (we are not an IT company; we operate in the civic sector)

We are currently looking for a graphic designer — someone who can convey meaning through visuals, works at a good pace, stays deeply in context, and wants to be part of a team that drives change.

Requirements

What is important to us?

• At least 1 year of experience as a designer/content creator (in a team or with a large number of requests);
• Understanding of design logic for different formats (social media ≠ presentation ≠ banner);
• Willingness to work in a multitasking environment where speed and substance are important;
• Ability to listen, ask questions, and offer suggestions;
• Volunteer or social experience — a plus in terms of karma and in the eyes of the team;
• Time management: you honestly communicate deadlines, and we honestly respect them.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

• Creating visual materials for social media, presentations, email newsletters, websites (in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) — taking into account the platform and target audience;
• Helping with the visual part of the website (banners, project cards, partners, infographics);
• You will draw booklets, stickers, roll-ups, and other printed materials — when something needs to be prepared for events or partners;
• You will create basic video content (clips, titles, inserts) — not for film editing, but for a quick social media format;
• You will be part of a design team that generates not just beautiful, but meaningful and relevant content.

Would be a plus

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects;
• Video editing skills.
