Event / Project Manager

We are looking for an Event / Project Manager who can independently run events and projects from idea to implementation. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, stays focused on results, and works calmly with scale, partners, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience independently managing events or projects.
• Ability to work with scale, partners, and official formats.
• High level of organization, accountability, and autonomy.
• Readiness to work in a hybrid format and be present offline in Kharkiv.
• Comfortable with evening events (this is part of the job, not an exception).

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, organize, and run events: business, educational, community, partner, and official.
• Manage 1–2 events per week alongside project work (educational, civic, business).
• Participate in large offline Cluster projects (including Tech Unity and Tech Global Kharkiv — events with 500+ and 3000+ attendees).
• Own an event or project end-to-end: idea → plan → timeline → team → implementation → wrap-up.
• Coordinate contractors, speakers, partners, and the internal team.
• Handle multiple tasks in parallel, meet deadlines, and maintain quality without micromanagement.
• Be present at events and take responsibility on the ground.

Would be a plus

• Understanding of project structure: task decomposition, phase planning, working with teams and contractors.
• Experience with large-scale events or complex projects.
• English (for working with partners and international formats).

Work conditions

• Full-time: Monday to Friday, Ukrainian business hours, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
