Requirements

🔹 2+ years of experience in external communications — content, PR, or media relations (preferably in the technology, civic, or education sector)
🔹 Strong writing skills across different formats — press releases, posts, articles, pitches, newsletters
🔹 Ability to build a communication strategy for a specific project or audience
🔹 Experience working with multiple channels simultaneously — social media, email, media, events
🔹 Understanding of how to adapt one message to different formats and audiences
🔹 PR as a tool in the overall communications mix: experience working with media is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities

🔹 Develop and implement a communications plan: web publications, social media, email newsletters
🔹 Media relations: press releases, briefings, interviews, feature publications, media partnerships
🔹 Prepare and promote success stories in collaboration with partners
🔹 Maintain informational materials for donors, partners, and media
🔹 Organize events, briefings, and networking sessions within communication strategies
🔹 Monitor publications and prepare analytical reports on reach and communications effectiveness

Would be a plus

Experience with PR tools and the media landscape, personal brand development, English for working with materials and content, experience with task trackers/CRM.

🔹 Full-time employment (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
