The First Ukrainian Legal AI Corpus: Preservation of Ukraine’s Scientific Heritage in Wartime

Y-Park Science Park of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University is implementing a project to digitize the university’s library and create the first Ukrainian Legal AI Corpus on its basis.

As a result, thousands of students, lawyers, scientists, and researchers will have access to unique materials and rare publications preserved in digital format even in wartime.

Y-Park coordinator and project patron Serhiy Petryk became the first in Ukraine to receive strong international support for this initiative from the former US President’s National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn.

Today, Y-Park opens the opportunity to join the project for patrons and partners who seek to contribute to the preservation of Ukraine’s scientific heritage and the development of Legal AI. These people will be at the origins of the first Ukrainian Legal AI Corpus — a project that shapes the future of legal technologies in Ukraine.

In addition to contributing to the history and development of Ukraine, patrons will have the opportunity to strengthen their personal brand, recognition, and increase the level of trust. Part of the participants’ contribution is directed to information support for the initiative, in particular, coverage of support in Ukrainian media, as well as, depending on the level of participation, in international media and in a documentary film about the first-ever process of digitizing a library in the conditions of a full-scale war.
