Kharkiv IT Cluster has signed a Memorandum with V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The Cluster has already worked with the University on several projects, the time has come to expand cooperation. In 2015 under the auspices of Computer Sciences Department of the University, we hold a pilot course on Programming Basics for schoolchildren of the City and Region with Mykola Arzubov. Kharkiv IT Cluster was also one of the sponsors of Karazin Winter School on Big Data, and organized recording all the lectures on video. The Rector of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, academician Vil Savbanovich Bakirov, thanked Kharkiv IT Cluster for the attention paid to the University and stressed the importance and necessity of the existence of such an organization in Kharkiv City. "I want our cooperation to be concrete and serious, we are ready to develop it and provide assistance. Our common goal is to raise a generation of young people being ready to conduct their own business", - said the Rector. Nataliia Vynohradska, Executive Director of Kharkiv IT Cluster, assured that the new project Unicorns Kharkiv, that is currently at the stage of development and approval, would become the solution of a major challenge - the progression of entrepreneurial skills among the students and motivation to the development of new IT products. In addition, Nataliia spoke about the dual education project, initiated by National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", which allowed students to effectively combine working at an IT-company and studying at the University as well as motivated them to enter a Master program.
