Kids2IT: regional Olympiad in Informatics

Kharkiv IT Cluster has helped to organize the opening of the III stage of Ukrainian School Olympiad in Informatics, which was held on 30 and 31 January on the basis of S.Kuznetsov Economic University. 232 school student of the city and the region took part in the competition. Executive Director of the Kharkiv IT Cluster Natalia Vinogradskaya told the young audience about IT-professions and prospects of development of IT-industry in Kharkiv. She also focused attention on steps to become a successful IT-specialist and presented to children project Kids2IT, which will help them on this way. Each participant got a souvenirs with our logo to remember the contest and useful information. Kharkiv IT Cluster cooperated with NURE: talented students of the university of radio electronics participated in the opening, and cheered the participants. We thank the participants of the competition for their enthusiasm and hope that each one will find its place in the IT-industry, and the winners will be a new generation of outstanding IT-specialists of Kharkiv.
