On the 8th of April Kharkiv IT Cluster signed Cooperation Memorandum with the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute". The Cluster has repeatedly worked with this institution of higher education. Under the auspices of our organization there took place several lectures for students, as well as negotiations in the field of dual education. Upon signing the Memorandum, the cooperation with the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" will become even more active: we have shaped a certain plan of actions.
Yevhen Sokol, the Rector of the University, told Nataliia Vinohradska, Executive Director of Kharkiv IT Cluster, about his position concerning the use of clustering for Ukraine, namely, that he saw the future of the country in such kind of associations rather than anywhere else. He noted that information technology was one of major directions of the University. Today this direction has 18 specialties. The Rector spoke about all the innovations that have been introduced in the University recently. He referred to the commitment of the University to IT development, the intention to launch co-working and start-up center at the premises of "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" as well as the success of the first in Kharkiv International Conference on the subject of "Problems of Scientific, Technical and Legal Support of Cybersecurity - 2016".
Nataliia and Yevhen discussed the problems, the universities and IT-companies are faced with when working with students and outlined joint initiatives that could solve such problems in detail. We see the prospects for cooperation and are ready to implement the first of them already this spring. Follow our announcements not to miss the most interesting events!
