Kharkiv IT Cluster attended an opening of SoftServe IT Academy in Kharkiv. SoftServe IT Academy in Kharkiv is one of the largest corporate education projects in the country, focused on training specialists of different specializations within IT. The ceremony took place on May 15 at SoftServe's Kharkiv office. Gennady Bukshevalov, Director of SoftServe Development Center in Kharkiv, Andriy Kolos, Director of the Department of Economics and International Affairs HODA, Harry Propper, President of SoftServe, Galina Datsiv, Director of Corporate SoftServe University and Andrew Pereimibida, Director of SoftServe IT Academy also attended the event . According to representatives of the company, next year 1500 young people will study at the Academy. 1000 of them will find work within the company itself. Director of Kharkiv IT Cluster Olga Shapoval congratulated the team of SoftServe with this milestone : "Such a powerful center gives many prospects Kharkiv as a youth city. There are about 20 higher education institutions that provide powerful fundamental training for future IT professionals. Together with this dynamic IT-industry prepares them for practical work in companies". She also added that the Academy will make a major contribution to the development of a human capital and enhance the competitiveness of the Kharkiv IT industry within the national and international projects.
