Kharkiv IT Cluster is a member of Skills Alliance for Ukraine

Kharkiv IT Cluster is reaching a new level of international cooperation — we are now officially among the members of Skills Alliance for Ukraine, a joint multi-stakeholder coalition of donors, international organizations, civil society organizations, and the private sector.

This is another step toward developing educational initiatives and strengthening the role of the Ukrainian tech community. The Alliance's mission is to support the Ukrainian government's efforts in the field of vocational education, foster dialogue between its members and the government, and attract additional funding. In this way, Skills Alliance for Ukraine creates synergy between existing and new initiatives for the development of vocational education both in Ukraine and in EU member states.

Within the Alliance, Kharkiv IT Cluster plans to present a range of initiatives in education and professional development — aimed at strengthening digital skills, improving labor market readiness, and supporting cooperation between education and the IT industry across Ukraine. Our projects focus on practical upskilling, digital transformation, the modernization of IT education, and support for young professionals and educators.

Two events have already taken place as part of this cooperation: 

🔹 a workshop “Recognition of Qualifications for Mobility and Growth of Ukraine”; 

🔹 an expert talk “Integrated Approaches to Vocational Skills Development for Veterans: Flexible Modalities and Holistic Support"

The global educational community is growing closer to the Ukrainian IT community, and Kharkiv IT Cluster is becoming even more visible on the global map of vocational education.
