The American research company “Clutch” has published a rating of Ukrainian web and software developers, in which we see two companies from Kharkiv in TOP. The research methodology is based on the matrix of market leaders. The top 12 included companies from Kharkiv, Lviv, Kiev, Odessa and Lutsk.
In the description of the study, analysts say that not all of the Eastern European companies are equal and rating demonstrates the strengths and weaknesses of Ukrainian IT-developers.
Methodology
First of all, analysts have developed a matrix of the leaders, divided into four quadrants: "Approve", "niche", "growing" and "market leaders". Analysis was based on five parameters: references, customers and experience, presence on the market, and focused on developing business software or web development.
The first two places went to Kharkiv: QArea and Zfort Group. In addition, other Kharkiv companies like AltexSoft, Intetics and Program-Ace were noticed. Kiev companies in the ranking are Miritec and Django Stars.Lviv is represented by Perfectial and N-Ix, Player from Odessa is SteelKiwi Development and Lutsk is represented by InternetDevels.
Besides the main ranking, analysts compiled a list of 15 companies that claim to be getting into the top.
Earlier Clutch made world ranking of testers. Four Ukrainian companies was in the list.

- "References" are based on the feedback from customers which was collected by Clutch analysts. Reviews were ranked with four criteria: quality of performance, cost, timeliness, willingness to work.
- The criterion of "Clients and experience" is based on a portfolio of clients of each company. It includes a level of customers themselves, the company's experience in working with clients and conformity of customers specifics of developer’s focus.
- "The presence in the market" is defined as the sum of the four parameters, which is calculated on the basis of a survey of market players. This level shows the presence on the market, the company's reputation, awards and social networks.
