Kharkiv IT Cluster is participating in the international InTechGrowth project, which aims to create opportunities for youth development in technology entrepreneurship. The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union supports the project and brings together partners from Poland, Turkey, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine.

The ITG project is co-funded by the European Union under Grant Agreement No. 101185687. What is the project about?

The aim of InTechGrowth is to equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to create and scale their own technology startups. At the same time, the project supports organizations working with youth by providing them with tools for more effective engagement and education.

What has already been done?

🔹 In February 2025, a kick-off meeting of all project partners was held, during which objectives, implementation stages, and key responsibilities were discussed and agreed upon.🔹 A focus group was conducted in Ukraine!In April, Kharkiv IT Cluster organized an online focus group involving representatives of youth organizations, educators, trainers, and entrepreneurship experts. The goal of the meeting was to identify the key training needs of youth workers who support young entrepreneurs.

Participants discussed:

  • The challenges youth workers face;
  • What knowledge and skills they need to work effectively with young people;
  • What a modern and effective training program should look like;
  • Which topics are the most relevant for youth worker development.

Based on the insights gathered, a national analytical report is being prepared. This report will form the basis for developing a training program for youth organization staff in 2025.

Next steps:

✅ Development of the youth worker training program (May–June 2025)

✅ Selection of mentors and launch of training for young entrepreneurs

✅ Creation of the online platform — Virtual Business Incubator

✅ Organization of the international event — EU-Eastern Neighbourhood Business Education Forum

Who will benefit from the project?

  • Young entrepreneurs under 35 who are planning to launch or grow a startup
  • Mentors who want to pass on their experience to the next generation of innovators
  • Youth organizations aiming to strengthen their educational impact
